This disclosure describes, in one aspect, a method of treating a subject having or at risk of having an infectious or neoplastic condition. Generally, the method includes administering to the subject a primary vaccine vector comprising a polynucleotide that encodes an immunogenic antigen expressed by a pathogen, administering to the subject a secondary vaccine vector comprising a polynucleotide that encodes the immunogenic antigen expressed by the pathogen, and administering to the subject a tertiary vaccine vector comprising a polynucleotide that encodes the immunogenic antigen expressed by the pathogen.
