A system for monitoring operational errors of a network camera/network video recorder on a real time basis includes: at least one network camera allocated with an Internet protocol network to create an image file through a photographing process and to transmit the image file; a network video recorder (NVR) to receive the image film from at least one of the network cameras connected with the NVR through a wired scheme, to store the image file, and to transmit the image file through a network; and a central management server (CMS) to receive and back-up the image file from the NVR and to remote-control operating states of the network camera and the NVR in real time. As described above, according to the system and the method for monitoring errors of the network camera/network video recorder, the NVR periodically notifies various operating states of the network camera and the NVR to a central control server located in a remote place, so that the administrator of the central control server can remotely monitor the operating states of the network camera and the NVR in real time. |
