A wheel pallet (1) including a support structure (10), an access opening and a retaining member (12). The support structure (1) is for supporting a wheel. The access opening is for entry and egress of the wheel to and from the support structure (10) respectively. The retaining member (12) is detachably or movably connected to the support structure (10) adjacent the access opening. The retaining member (12) is movable between a closed position preventing egress of the wheel from the structure (10) via the access opening and an open position allowing entry of the wheel to the support structure (10) via the access opening.
