PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position indicator capable of simplifying a manufacturing step of a writing pressure detection module, and improving mass productivity.SOLUTION: A position indicator includes: a core body arranged in a housing so as to project out a tip end from an opening end side of the housing; a print-circuit board provided with a circuit element for detecting pressing force applied on the core body; and a writing pressure detection module axially arranged with a plurality of components for detecting displacement in an axial direction according to the pressing force applied on the core body, in a hollow portion of a cylindrical holder portion stored in the housing so as to match the axial direction. The holder portion has an opening portion in a direction vertical to the axial direction of the holder portion on a part of a side peripheral surface. The plurality of components is stored in the hollow portion of the cylindrical holder portion from the direction vertical to the axial direction through the opening portion. The holder portion is equipped with a locking portion for preventing the plurality of stored components from detaching through the opening. |
