PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bearing diagnostic device capable of determining a bearing defect such as a flaw or peeling with high sensitivity.SOLUTION: A rolling bearing diagnostic device detects a defect of a bearing from pulse-shaped vibrations generated when a rolling bearing having a defect on a surface of at least either one of a track surface or a rolling body is rotated. The diagnostic device includes: an A/D converter 5 for A/D converting a signal related to vibrations generated on the rolling bearing; a wavelet filter portion 6 for carrying out discrete wavelet conversion on a digital signal outputted by the A/D converter 5, performing nonlinear processing on an obtained wavelet coefficient, and removing noise components by reconfiguring a waveform by discrete wavelet inverse conversion; a pulse signal analyzing portion 12 for carrying out quantization on a pulse signal from the defect to the signal from which noise is removed by the wavelet filter portion 6; and a comparing and collating portion 13 for determining the quality of the bearing according to the quantitative value obtained by the pulse signal analyzing portion 12. |
