PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve fire resistance and manufacturability on a door pocket side.SOLUTION: In a sliding door device comprising: a sliding door 20 for opening and closing an opening for passage way by moving in a lateral width direction; an upper side horizontal frame 11 which is provided over the opening/closing range of the sliding door 20 on the upper side of the opening/closing range, to which the upper side of the sliding door 20 is inserted and which guides the sliding door 20 in the opening/closing direction; and a door pocket part B which is provided closer to the opening direction on the lower side of the upper side horizontal frame 11 and stores the sliding door when the sliding door is opened, fire-resistant fireproof plates 11i, 11h are provided on both sides in a door thickness direction of the door pocket part B, and fixed by hooking the upper end side of the fireproof plates to the upper side horizontal frame 11. |
