PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of selectively coupling a single derive motor to a telescopic mechanism or tilt mechanism, and achieving easy and stable switching with an inexpensive and easy configuration.SOLUTION: A vehicle steering device comprises: a drive mechanism 5 adjusting an output torque from a drive motor DM and transmitting the output torque to a telescopic screw shaft 33 and a tilt screw shaft 43 provided laterally to the telescopic screw shaft 33; and a switch mechanism 6 including a first clutch mechanism connecting/disconnecting the drive mechanism 5 to/from the tilt screw shaft 43 and a second clutch mechanism connecting/disconnecting the drive shaft 5 to/from the telescopic drive shaft 33, and setting one of the first and second clutch mechanisms to an engaged state and the other clutch mechanism to a disengaged state using a switch motor. The switch mechanism 6 and the drive mechanism 5 can be constituted by a single drive/switch unit. |
