PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of processing a coated article and a processed article.SOLUTION: A method of processing a coated article includes the stages of: preparing an article which has an MCrAlY coating; forming a processed MCrAlY coating by coating the MCrAlY coating with an aluminide processing agent; and forming a &bgr;-phase material outward from the MCrAlY coating to the processing agent. The coating is selected from the group of dipping, spray coating, brush coating, dip coating, flow casting, pack cementation, vapor deposition, and combinations thereof. The processed article includes a base material and a processed MCrAlY coating located on at least a part of the base material. The processed MCrAlY coating includes &bgr;-phase aluminide in the processing agent having been subjected to the spray coating, brush coating, flow casting, dip coating, pack cementation, vapor deposition, or immersion coating. |
