PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide filter segments with a high contrast ratio produced using a color filter coloring composition which is superior in terms of a contrast ratio (CR value), dispersion stability, and chemical resistance, and a high-quality color filter.SOLUTION: A color filter coloring composition which solves the above mentioned problem contains: a pigment (A); a binder resin (B); a resin dispersant (C); and a solvent (D). The binder resin (B) contains a resin (B1) which is obtained by having (b4) react with a copolymer obtained by copolymerizing (b1), (b2), and (b3), and contains a repeating unit derived from (b3) and a repeating unit derived from (b3) and (b4) in an amount of 75-95 mol% with respect to a total mole number of all repeating units in the resin. |
