<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power steering device that can detect a pin part wherever the pin part is, and is inexpensive.SOLUTION: A power steering device includes a first housing 11, an operation shaft 20 which is inserted into the first housing 11, a first driving device which is provided in the first housing 11, and applies axial power to the operation shaft 20, and a lock device 30 which locks the operation shaft 20 at a neutral position, and forms an engagement groove 20a in the operation shaft 20 in a direction orthogonal to the axis. The lock device 30 includes a pin part 32 which engages the engagement groove 20a of the operation shaft 20, second driving devices 31, 47 which move the pin part 32 forward and backward in a direction orthogonal to the axis of the operation shaft 20, a second housing 48 which houses the pin part 32 and second driving devices 31, 47, and a position detection device which detects a forward/backward movement position of the pin part 32. The position detection device has conversion mechanisms 51a, 52a which convert the forward/backward movement position of the pin part 32 into a rotational position, and a rotational position detection device 59 which detects the rotational position.</p> |
