1. Systems for producing traction, wherein each traction system is an apparatus that provides traction on snow and ice covered surfaces, said systems comprising:
a traction apparatus mounted on each of a pair of skis, each apparatus is adapted with an adjustable tilt sensor activated by inclination, and acting as an on/off switch for a unit; consisting of a DC powered servo control-solenoid valve that controls, incoming pressurized carbon dioxide (CO2) gas from a cartridge; said pressurized gas powers a gas pneumatic actuator(s) connected with a gripping part(s) that extrudes on vertical ascending terrain and retracts on level, and descending terrain; a traction apparatus adapted to each of a pair of footwear, each said apparatus having a pre-programmed first unit consisting of a, DC powered radio frequency- receiver-servo-control-solenoid valve unit, that is turned on by an exterior source radio frequency transmitter acting as an on/off switch; and captured by the receiver to opens the solenoid valve of the first unit; that controls incoming pressurized carbon dioxide (CO2) gas from a cartridge, that powers a gas pneumatic rotary actuator powering a hydraulic vane pump feed hydraulic oil from a reservoir; said first unit controls a second DC powered solenoid-multi valves unit acting as an on/off switch that controls the inflow and out flow of oil pressure from the pump and reservoir; the oil pressure produced by the pump powers two hydraulic oil cylinder(s) each having a piston wherein each piston is fixed with a gripping part(s); that extrude from the underside of each footwear soles; said hydraulic cylinder(s) are single acting type that self retract the pistons with gripping parts when oil pressure is cut off; a traction apparatus mounted to each of a pair of snowmobile skis; each apparatus consisting of an hydraulic double-vane rotary actuator, that engages with a drive shaft that enters pillow block bearings held together by a cover that engages a snowmobile connecting member; the shaft exits and enters a third pillow block bearing fix to the ski, and ends engaged in a shaft support block; said third pillow block bearing with the shaft support block are both fixed to the ski; the snowmobiles hydraulic power steering system controls each traction apparatus by supplying hydraulic oil pressure to each double-vane rotary actuator of each traction apparatus; the said hydraulic double-vane rotary actuator pivots; each drive shaft, with each apparatus mounted to each of a pair of snowmobile skis; together all move simultaneously clockwise and counterclockwise. |
