A computerized method for operating a display system for a vehicle includes displaying at least two different operating fields on a common display screen in the vehicle. One of the two different operating fields is assigned to a first active functional area and the other of the two operating fields is assigned to a second active functional area. The method further includes using two different applications to populate and update the at least two operating fields in parallel. |
