A seal assembly (101, 102) can be incorporated into a track joint assembly (84) of an undercarriage (32) of a track-type machine (30). The track joint assembly (84) can have a first member (110) pivotable about a rotational axis relative to a second member (97) thereof. The first member (110) includes a seal member engagement surface (180) defining, at least in part, an axially-extending seal cavity (125) about the rotational axis and within which the seal assembly (101, 102) is disposed. The seal assembly (101, 102) can include a thrust ring (204, 404) and a seal member (202, 402) mounted to the thrust ring (204, 404). The seal member (202, 402) includes a first member engagement surface (242, 442), a second member engagement surface (244, 444), a frusto-conical inner relief surface (246, 446), a thrust ring engagement surface (248, 448), and an outer relief surface (250, 450). |
