A programmable display unit comprises: a display (103); a touch panel (110); a volatile memory (107); a nonvolatile memory (106) for storing control screen data (108) including a plurality of screen data (1091 to 109n); an activation control unit (101) for transferring the control screen data (108) to the volatile memory (107) at the start of activation; and a display control unit (102) which displays on the display (103) any of the screens the data of which is included in the control screen data transferred to the volatile memory (107), and changes the screen to be displayed responsive to an input operation into the touch panel (110). The activation control unit (101) transfers the control screen data (108) in order based on a priority set such that the first display screen displayed at the start of activation has the highest priority. The display control unit (102) displays the first display screen on the display (103) when transferring the screen data for the first display screen to the volatile memory (107). |
