[Class 20 (iii)] In a suspension for sliding sashes which are adapted to be swung into a horizontal position about projections formed on brackets secured to the lower portions of the sashes and to which brackets the sash cords are connected by metal suspension members hinged thereto, each suspension member 1 is formed from a flat strip, the upper end being formed with pressed-up tongues 5, 5a, for the secure attachment of the sash cord 9 and the lower end with a keyhole slot 6 for pivotal engagement with a headed stud 11 secured to the sash bracket 10. |
