<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image matching device for reducing the influence of erroneous association in the image matching of a feature base. <P>SOLUTION: The image matching device includes: feature expression means for calculating a featured value for each featured part extracted from a query image and a storage image preliminarily stored in a search object database; and collation means for calculating scores from the featured value calculated by the feature expression means between the query image and the storage image, and for performing image matching on the basis of a score voting result to the storage image corresponding to the featured part of the query image. The collation means votes for scores showing the probability of the association of the featured parts between the query image and the storage image, and performs image matching on the basis of the score voting result, and searches for the storage image matching with the query image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
