<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide hot-dip metal plating equipment in which the performance of vibration damping devices and the positioning accuracy of baffle plates are enhanced by reducing distance from the vibration damping devices to a gas wiping device and the baffle plates as much as possible. <P>SOLUTION: The hot-dip metal plating equipment includes wiping nozzles 11a, 11b for controlling the coating weight by blowing gas on a surface and a rear face of a strip S starting from a molten metal pot 10 and traveling upwardly, the baffle plates 12a, 12b arranged on gas blowing positions aside both ends of the strip S, and the vibration damping devices 13a, 13b which are arranged downstream from the wiping nozzles in the strip traveling direction and perform the positional control of the strip S by applying the electromagnetic force onto the surface and rear face of the strip S.
