<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a catalyst temperature raising device reducing fuel required for raising the temperature of an exhaust gas aftertreatment catalyst. <P>SOLUTION: This catalyst temperature raising device 1 for raising the temperature of the exhaust gas aftertreatment catalyst 4 provided in the exhaust pipe 3 of an engine 2 and cleaning exhaust gas from the engine 2 by endothermic reaction includes: a burner means 5 arranged in the exhaust pipe 3 provided upstream of the exhaust gas aftertreatment catalyst 4 and raising the temperature of the exhaust gas led to flow into the exhaust gas aftertreatment catalyst 4; and a waste heat recovery means 6 for performing heat exchange between the exhaust gas led to flow out of the exhaust gas aftertreatment catalyst 4 and the exhaust gas led to flow into the burner means 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
