A lubrication container for use in wire drawing, the lubrication container comprising: a hollow drum for holding power lubricant, the drum being rotatable about an axis, a wire inlet in an inlet end wall of the drum for receiving a wire into the drum, a wire outlet end wall of the drum for conveying the wire from the drum, a channel arranged about the sidewall of the drum, and tracing a substantially spiral or helical path, the channel defining a hollow passage, an inlet aperture in the channel, opening into the hollow drum interior near the outlet end wall of the drum, an outlet aperture in the channel, opening into the hollow drum interior near the inlet end wall of the drum. |
