A method of providing access to content stored in a database includes acquiring contextual information relating to an environment in which the method is performed. A set of descriptive features is extracted from the contextual information, and elements from the extracted set of descriptive features are matched with corresponding sets of descriptive features associated with content items stored in the database. One or more content items are selected according to a rule, e.g. when a matching ratio exceeds a predetermined value, and are reproduced on a user's device.
