The invention relates to a test connection for checking a current converter, in particular an external current converter of a gas-insulated switchgear. A current converter (1) comprises a tubular support element (2), which contains a primary conductor, and an annular measurement core (3) which is arranged around the circumference of the tubular support element (2) and around which a winding is at least partially wound. A test connection for the current converter (1) comprises at least a first and a second contact element (4, 10) which are electrically conductively connected to the support element (2).
