<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate a portable storage device holding a seed in short time after a session starts and to continuously and repeatedly perform one-time authentication even if the portable storage device is separated in a one-time authentication system. <P>SOLUTION: A server device 4 and a client device 1 perform one-time authentication of a phase 1 and a phase 2. The client device 1 reads the seed from a portable storage device 5, generates a one-time authenticator based on the seed and transmits the one-time authenticator to the server 4 in the phase 1. When authentication of the one-time authenticator is succeeded, a seed for next authentication is written in the portable storage device 5. In the phase 2, a seed for initial authentication of the phase 2 is derived from the seed for next authentication of the phase 1, a one-time authenticator is generated from the seed for initial authentication and authentication in the phase 2 is repeated thereafter. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
