Provided are a device and a method for tracking a gaze based on a camera array. The device for tracking a gaze based on a camera array comprises: a camera array including a plurality of cameras and a plurality of light sources for the cameras; a light source control unit to control the light sources so that the cameras can take a bright pupil image and a dark pupil image of a user; a detection unit to detect the position of a pupil center of the user and the position of a glint due to reflection of the light sources from the taken pupil images; and an estimation unit to estimate the interest position of both eyes by tracking the gaze direction of both eyes of the user based on the detected position of the pupil center and the detected position of the glint.
