<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a buffer manufacturing method with which buffers having a uniform dry density equal to or greater than a prescribed target value can be manufactured. <P>SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing a buffer in which compacted soil materials are laminated repeats: a throw-in process in which the soil materials kneaded with preset blending rate and water content are thrown in by a predetermined amount; and a rolling compaction process in which the soil materials thrown in the throw-in process are leveled off and compacted. The method also includes: a measurement process for measuring a height of the soil materials laminated every time the rolling compaction process is completed; and a management process for calculating a layer thickness of the soil materials newly compacted based on the height of the laminated soil materials measured in the measurement process and the height of the laminated soil materials measured in a preceding measurement process, and calculating a dry density of the soil materials newly compacted based on the calculated layer thickness of the soil materials and the thrown amount and the water content of the soil materials thrown during the throw-in process, thereby making it possible to manufacture the buffer having the uniform dry density equal to or greater than a prescribed target value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
