Mail box system

The system (1) has two containers (2) arranged next to each other and/or above each other. Connection units (3) are provided for connection of the two adjacent containers. The connection units have connection elements connectable with connectors (4, 5) of the containers. The connection units are inserted between the adjacent containers and stand in form-fit and/or force-fit connection with the connectors in the inserted state via the connection elements so that the adjacent containers are connectable with each other. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a mail box system.
