<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve frequency characteristics of an antenna gain and to provide a broad-band progressive wave exciting antenna. <P>SOLUTION: The progressive wave exciting antenna comprises: a feed line 50 connecting two converters 3a and 3b; a plurality of radiation elements 51 provided along the feed line 50 and excited in the same phase by progressive waves transmitted on the feed line 50 in one direction; and a waveguide block 2 for supplying the progressive waves mutually transmitted on the feed line 50 in the opposite directions with respect to the converters 3a and 3b to mutually excite the radiation elements 51 in the same phase. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
