<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire that reduces rolling resistance without reducing durability. <P>SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire includes at least one carcass ply 2 extending in a toroidal manner between a pair of bead cores 1 arranged on right and left sides, and a one belt layer 3 arranged outside in the tire radial direction of a crown part thereof. At least one of the carcass plies includes an organic fiber cord and coating rubber for covering it. When minimum and maximum diameters, as a dip cord, of a cross section in a direction perpendicular to the cord longitudinal direction of the organic fiber cord are R1 and R2, respectively, circularity of the organic fiber cord defined by R2/R1 satisfies a relationship represented by 1.0< R2/R1≤1.3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
