<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a matte coated paper for offset printing with low density, flexibility and opacity and whiteness suitable for practical use, in particular having specially high delta-gloss (=printing glossiness-white paper glossiness), excellent printing face feeling, and good surface strength and folding cracking strength. <P>SOLUTION: In the matte coated paper for printing constituted by arranging a coated layer containing pigments and an adhesive on base paper, the base paper contains 90 wt.% or more of craft pulp based on the whole pulp dry weight as a raw material, contains 65 wt.% or more of broadleaf tree pulp of freeness of 100 ml or more and 350 ml or less based on the whole craft pulp dry weight as the craft pulp, and further contains an organic compound having the action for inhibiting intrafiber bonding of the pulps. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
