PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an aqueous composition containing inorganic fillers in an aqueous solvent, and having a viscosity and a solid content dispersion state that are suitable for coating on a surface of a member constituting a secondary battery.SOLUTION: A method for producing an aqueous composition provided by the present invention includes a step of kneading inorganic fillers, a dispersant, a thickener and an aqueous solvent together to prepare the aqueous composition. The solid content concentration of the aqueous composition is 35-80 mass%, and the usage of the dispersant is an amount equivalent to 0.2-2.0 mass%, based on a solid content, of the total solid content contained in the aqueous composition. |
