<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair which includes an armrest device not likely to be broken or deformed even when excessive force is applied to an operation lever, and having a simple structure, and easily assembled. <P>SOLUTION: A height adjuster 15 in the armrest device 9 of the chair includes: an operation lever 21 pivotally attached to an armrest support rod 14; a turning lever 22 configured such that the upper and lower part are turnable in a front and rear direction with the intermediate part in a vertical direction as a center, arranged inside the armrest support rod 14, and also whose upper end is linked with the operation lever 21; a plurality of engagement parts 25b arranged in an armrest support cylinder 11 so as to be in a vertically multi-stage state; an engagement pin 24 arranged in the turning lever 22 and selectively engaged with/disengaged from the plurality of engagement parts 25b in accordance with the height of the armrest support rod 14 with respect to the armrest support cylinder 11; and an urging means 28 for urging the turning lever 22 toward the engagement direction of the engagement pin 24 with any one of the engagement parts 25b. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
