<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine tool for effectively showing an insulation effect with respect to coolant heat and also allowing a positive cooling effect to be expected. <P>SOLUTION: The machine tool performs machining with respect to a workpiece by supplying a coolant C to a working tool on a device body 2. A whole machine is covered with a whole cover 10. The machine tool includes: a coolant discharge passage 15 for discharging the coolant C to the external part of the machine; and a mist discharge passage 16 to be arranged along the coolant discharge passage 15 thereby to discharge mist M to the external part of the machine. The machine tool also includes an insulation mechanism 50 for introducing external air to the inner part of the machine by discharging the mist M inside the machine to the external part of the machine via the mist discharge passage 16, and suppressing the transmission of the heat of the coolant C to the device body 2 by the circulation of the external air. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
