摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for measuring the depth of cracks in a concrete surface through the use of ultrasonic waves and capable of improving measuring accuracy, performing long-distance measurements, and measuring the depth of cracks having a maximum depth even in the case that a plurality of cracks are present and provide a measuring method using the same. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for measuring the depth of cracks in a concrete surface is provided with an ultrasonic probe for transmission arranged in the concrete surface in such a way as to transmit incident longitudinal waves at an angle of incidence and generate mode-converted surface waves, an ultrasonic probe for reception arranged in the concrete surface at a prescribed interval from the ultrasonic probe for transmission for receiving the surface waves transmitted from the ultrasonic probe for transmission, and a computation means for computing the depth of cracks in the concrete surface on the basis of data of the surface waves received by the ultrasonic probe for reception. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p>
