<p>A mounting assembly for a two-stage cryogenic refrigerator (17) comprising a sock (15) having first and second stages corresponding to first and second stages of the refrigerator. In use, the first stage of the refrigerator is in thermal contact with the first stage of the sock and the second stage of the refrigerator is in thermal contact with the second stage of the sock. Fasteners (40) are provided, mechanically clamping the second stage of the refrigerator into contact with the second stage of the sock.</p> |
