摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve quantitativity of a minute-amount target sample immediately after a solvent peak by suppressing an influence of tailing of the peak of an excessive amount of the solvent. <P>SOLUTION: An AC voltage with a frequency higher than an exciting low-frequency AC voltage is applied, as substitute for a DC current, to a bias electrode 8 for collecting ions derived from a sample produced by an action of low-frequency discharge plasma. Though an effective detecting sensitivity is relatively lowered by using AC for the bias voltage, as the sensitivity lowering of the excessive amount of solvent ion is further greater than the sensitivity lowering of the solute ion, a selection ratio of the solute to the solvent is improved. Thereby, the influence of the tailing of the solvent peak can be suppressed and the quantitativity of the target sample is improved. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p>
