<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To switch the antenna directivity characteristics among lateral directivity characteristics, forward directivity characteristics and omni-directional characteristics through only simple operations, without having to change the basic structure of an antenna module. <P>SOLUTION: An antenna device 1 has a dielectric substrate 2, an antenna element 6, which is composed of a slot 4 formed on the dielectric substrate 2, antenna elements 7 and 8, which are composed of a conductive pattern 3 formed on the dielectric substrate 2. The antenna element 7 which is composed of the slot 4, and the antenna elements 7 and 8 which are constituted of the conductive pattern 3 are arranged so that each electric field is directed in the same direction. In addition, an electronic circuit can be mounted in a region surrounded by the antenna element 6, constituted of the slot 4 and the antenna elements 7 and 8 which are composed of the conductive pattern 3 on the antenna formed surface of the dielectric substrate 2, or a region corresponding to the region on the back side of the antenna element formed surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
