A tensioner pad assembly is provided. The tensioner pad assembly comprises: two or more tensioner pads and presents a first tensioner pad to the product when in a first configuration and present a second tensioner pad to the product when in a second configuration; a split tensioner pad with a means for controlling the separation between portions of the pad; and combinations thereof. The invention allows a tensioner to accommodate products of different shapes, sizes and materials without having to swap tensioner pad assemblies. |
