<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for constructing a gambrel roof capable of achieving reduction of cost and omission of construction labor and time and effectively dispersing load of gambrel portions to a roof body, and the structure of the gambrel roof. <P>SOLUTION: Support structure portions 15, 15 for supporting the gambrel portions 20 are formed in advance on gable side panels 11 constituting roof surfaces 10c on gable sides. After forming the roof body 10, support metal fittings 31, 32 and 33 are installed in the support structure portions 15, 15 of the gable side panels 11. Roof panels 21, 21 for gambrel constituting roof surfaces 20b, 20b of the gambrel portions 20 are supported by the support metal fittings 31, 32 and 33 to construct the gambrel portions 20. Accordingly, portions for supporting the gambrel portions 20 can be limited to the support structure portions 15, 15, and the gambrel portions 20 can be directly constructed on the roof body without using tie panels, being different from a conventional method. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
