<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an effective technology for improving the performance of gripping a tool end in a tool holder for gripping a tool. <P>SOLUTION: This tool holder includes a holder body 110 which forms a housing of the tool holder, and a tool gripping mechanism 120 for gripping the tool 200. The tool gripping mechanism 120 includes: a long cylindrical gripping sleeve 130 attached to the holder body 110; a tool gripping space 131 where the tool 200 is gripped; a slide ring 140 provided so as to be slidable in a long axis direction of the gripping sleeve 130; a fluid pressure chamber 150 where fluid pressure for operating to slide the slide ring 140 is generated; an engaged part 134 for tightening the tool 200 inserted into the tool gripping space 131; and a slope 142a of an engaging part 142 and a slope 134a of the engaged part 134 for converting the slide of the slide ring 140 by the fluid pressure in the fluid pressure chamber 150 into the tightening of the engaged part 134 in a direction intersecting with the long axis direction of the tool 200. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
