<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a membrane filtering method that hinders a filter membrane from clogging and reduces chemical cleaning and replacement of the filter membrane. <P>SOLUTION: The membrane filtering method includes: a pretreatment process of obtaining coagulation treatment water by mixing treated water with a poly aluminum chloride solution (PAC solution) having basicity of 65-85%; a membrane filtering process of filtering the coagulation treatment water by the filter membrane to obtain filtrated water; and a backwash process of performing back washing on the filter membrane at predetermined intervals.
