<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device for a vehicle which determines whether a transmission ratio is fixed on the basis of rotational motion of a planet gear. <P>SOLUTION: A transmission ratio variable mechanism 13 includes: an input sun gear 54 to be connected to an input shaft 18; an output sun gear 55 to be connected to an output shaft 19; the planet gear 56 to be meshed with both of the input sun gear 54 and the output sun gear 55; and a carrier 57 for supporting the planet gear 56 so that the planet gear 56 can rotate on its own central axis L2. The steering device 1 for a vehicle also includes: a planet gear sensor 35 for detecting the rotational motion of the planet gear 56; and a steering control part 38 for determining whether the transmission ratioθ2/θ1 is fixed on the basis of the detected rotational motion of the planet gear 56. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
