<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a form similar to a transverse flute such as a flute, and to produce musical sound with pitch appropriate according to musical performance specific to the transverse flute regardless of an individual difference of body such as a bottom lip of a performer. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU 21 specifies basic pitch information of pitch to be produced based on key switch patterns indicating operation states of key switches 31 and 32. Further, a frequency characteristic acquiring section 25 acquires frequency characteristics of a sound signal acquired from a microphone 34 arranged inside a hollow body of an electronic wind instrument 10. The CPU 21 controls a sound source section 27 so as to produce musical sound with pitch higher than the basic pitch information based on the key switch patterns by a predetermined degree (for example, one octave) based on the frequency characteristics acquired at the frequency characteristic acquiring section 25. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
