<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric linear motion machine suitable for use in a clean environment such as a clean room that effectively prevents foreign matters adhered to the outer peripheral surface of an inner cylinder from leaking to the outside of a housing. <P>SOLUTION: A sleeve bearing member 5, which is attached to the end of an outer cylinder 2 serving as a housing, has a bearing metal 7 inserted and a scraper 9 attached. The protruding part of the inner cylinder 3 is covered with a bellows 6. The bearing metal 7 slides and guides the inner cylinder 3 which protrudes through the sleeve bearing member 5 to the outside of the outer cylinder 2. The scraper 9 contacts the outer peripheral surface of the inner cylinder 3 having its sway suppressed by the bearing metal 7 and scrapes the foreign matters adhered to the outer peripheral surface of an inner cylinder 3 in the outer cylinder 2 to prevent the foreign matters from leaking to the outside. The bellows 6 serves to retain a small amount of detached foreign matters inside by isolating the protruding part of the inner cylinder 3 from the outside and thus prevents them from leaking. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
