<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a production method of a decolorizable toner which suppresses generation of fine powder due to dropping of fine particles of a decolorizable coloring material from the toner.SOLUTION: A decolorizable toner is produced through steps of: forming core particles in an aqueous medium by flocculating a coloring material fine particle dispersion which comprises at least a color-developing compound, a developer and a decolorizing agent and is micro-encapsulated, with a fine particle dispersion comprising a binder resin; then adding a binder resin for a shell having at least a carboxyl group to form micro-encapsulated toner particles having a shell of the binder resin having the carboxyl group on the surface of the core particle; and further surface-treating the toner particles by adding a compound having a carbodiimide group or an epoxy group reactive with the carboxyl group of the binder resin for the sell.</p> |
