The present invention relates to a janggu stick for hitting a percussion instrument, such as a gong, a janggu, or the likes. A body is formed of an elastic glass rod made of glass fiber or a carbon rod made of carbon fiber to increase durability. A head part is provided on one side of the body to directly hit a percussion instrument and is made of an ethylene propylene diene M-class (EPDM) rubber, which is a stretchable double composite rubber, to have strong water resistance and wear resistance, so the janggu stick is used for a long period of time and provides excellent sense of grip for a user. According to the present invention, the janggu stick comprises: the body which is formed of at least one of a glass rod made of glass fiber or a carbon rod made of carbon fiber; a cushioning member which includes a head part and a grip part formed by winding a cushioning material of an ethylene propylene diene M-class (EPDM) rubber, which is a waterproofing double composite rubber, around one end and the other end of the body many times to have a predetermined thickness and includes a fixing body which is provided on the outer surface of the head part and the grip part to prevent the body from being detached from the head part and the grip part; and a cover member which is fixed to surround the outer surface of the head part formed on one end of the body and protects the cushioning member. |
