The application relates to a system, method and computer program for validating a translation memory against a terminology dictionary. The terminology dictionary comprises source terms and corresponding target terms, and the translation memory comprises segments and corresponding target segments. The method of validating comprises identifying, for each source term, exact or close occurrences of that source term within source segments whereby a close match is according to grammar rules, and calculating using a fuzzy match engine, for each identified source term occurrence in a source segment, a numerical closeness score between a corresponding target term and a corresponding occurrence of the corresponding target term in a corresponding target segment.
