<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide contact member for increasing the volume of a slide contact part without enlarging sliding resistance between the slide contact part and a contacted part. <P>SOLUTION: A brush body 32 as the slide contact member includes a fluff part 36 as the slide contact part which is used in a rotary movement state, while making slide contact with a floor surface.
