<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stopping device of a passenger conveyor capable of simplifying a structure by suppressing the abnormal lowering of a footstep. <P>SOLUTION: The stopping device 21 is used for an escalator including a motor 5, the footstep 3 for circularly moving by the drive of the motor 5, a moving handrail 4 for circularly moving by interlocking with the footstep 3 and a control device 6 for controlling the drive of the motor 5, and includes a rotation detecting device 8 for detecting the rotation of a rotary shaft of the motor 5, a ratchet wheel 13 for rotating by interlocking with the rotary shaft of the motor 5, a ratchet engaging member 19 displaced between an engaging position engaging with the ratchet wheel 13 and an engagement releasing position for releasing engagement with the ratchet wheel 13, and a ratchet engaging member displacing device 20 for displacing the ratchet engaging member 19 to the engaging position from the engagement releasing position by detecting the rotation of the rotary shaft of the motor 5 by the rotation detecting device 8 when the drive of the motor 5 is stopped. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT</p> |
