The subject application is directed to a food processing device to extract juice. The device includes an inlet coupled to a disintegrator. The inlet is configured to accept food items and the disintegrator configured to disintegrate food items passed through the inlet. The device further includes a separator that accepts the disintegrated food items and separates out the liquid components from the food item. The device further includes a reservoir that is coupled to the separator for accepting and holding the liquid components. The reservoir includes a translucent member for viewing of liquid levels within the reservoir, and a valved outlet. The valved outlet is configured to allow or prevent the flow of liquid from the reservoir through the valved outlet. |

1. A device comprising:
a container having top surface inclusive of an input orifice operable to receive foodstuff; a first frustoconical member oriented such that an axis thereof is generally vertical and relative to the orifice so as receive the foodstuff into a wider of two ends thereof, the first frustoconical member having a surface portion permeable to pass a slurry having a preselected particle size range therethrough; a generally planar abrasive disintegration plate affixed internally to the first frustoconical member at a narrowed portion thereof relative to the wider end; a cutting surface projection disposed on an upper surface of the disintegration plate; a wiper member disposed in an interior of the first frustoconical member and in contact with an interior surface thereof a second frustoconical member oriented relative to the first frustoconical member in a generally mirrored sizing and orientation such that corresponding narrowed portions are affixed to one another such that the slurry flows along an exterior surface thereof; a plurality of mixing elements disposed at a relatively wider portion of the second frustoconical member; a motor operable to rotate the first and second frustoconical members; and an output orifice disposed in wall of the container outwardly of the second frustoconical member relatively proximate to the mixing elements. |
