The present invention relates to a method and device for generating screen division image in an electronic device. A method for generating an image includes a step of capturing an image; a step of displaying the captured image on the display unit; a step of correcting at least one among the position, size, or shape of the captured image displayed on the display unit; and a step of displaying a preview image on an area where the captured image is not displayed on the display unit.
