<p>The present invention relates to an image sensor and a surveillance system having the same, capable of reducing a chip size and reducing a board realization costs by mounting an on-screen display function in the image sensor. The image sensor comprises: an on-screen display (OSD) change control unit to output image sensor setting information corresponding to an OSD menu change when a control signal for the OSD menu change is supplied, to calculate OSD image information corresponding to the OSD menu change based on an assembly code, to output a corresponding OSD image; an image array to receive a video signal for a subject to be converted to digital image data; an image signal processing unit to apply the image sensor setting information to the digital image data and to process a signal; and an OSD synthesizing unit to synthesize the digital image data in which the image sensor setting information is changed and the OSD image to be displayed on the outside by processing the signal.</p> |
